My next destination: Mysore, Bangalore, India!

Mysore maɪˈsɔɚ (help·info); renamed to Mysuru|ಮೈಸೂರು) (Kannada: ಮೈಸೂರು) is the second largest city in the state of Karnataka, India. It is the headquarters of the Mysore district and the Mysore division and lies about 146 km (91 mi) southwest of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. The name Mysore is an anglicised version of Mahishūru, which means the abode of Mahisha. Mahisha stands for Mahishasura, a demon from the Hindu mythology. The city is spread across an area of 128.42 km² (50 sq mi) and is situated at the base of the Chamundi Hills.

Mysore is famous for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists. Mysore also lends its name to the Mysore style of painting, the sweet dish Mysore Pak, Mysore Peta (traditional silk turban) and the garment called the Mysore silk saree.

Dunno why I am having this mixed feeling when I knew my placement. It was so anxious before knowing, so sad when the moment came, a bit relieved when everybody convince me that it is a nice place, and eventually feeling happy+grateful for having such a chance to study abroad. (Even though many people may think that India is a horrible country.)

My college is called JSS medical college, where JSS stands for the dean's name. (The first initial J represents his title, like datuk/tan sri/tun we have here) Sadly only 6 people are going there, consisting of 1 chinese girl (Me la of coz, who else..), 2 chinese guys, 1 indian girl, and 2 malay girls. Stil wondering why our college has such few quota for Malaysians, maybe it is too good?(Hoho I dont think so..) All my friends are heading to different parts of India, but at least they have 8-28 friends going with them. The nearest college that JPA sends to is in Davangere state, which takes about 3 hours drive from my place to reach there. SAD, everybody is seperated.

I do think that the placement is about luck, not results or anything else. If you have jodoh with a person, definitely you two will be going to the same uni even though the possibility is so small.

Anna and Geng Lim(couples) heading to the same uni. I think they can get married already.

The 2 guys who are going to the same uni with me are roommates. Full of jodoh.

And I dont seem to have much jodoh with my friends. But I believe that I will find new friends there.

Dont worry, You still have Albert Sze Kin and Vaish..

What to worry about, Vaish is so nice..
