I think creatures living at Jupiter also know that I LOVE badminton more than anything..Girls like to comment that why guys will be enthusiastically attracted to a game where 11guys fighting for a small football, what is so nice about seeing people jumping down from a high dashboard as if they are commiting suicide in the most elegant way, what is so attractive about hitting 10 small "bottles" with a probably 13pounds bowling ball, what is so exciting about 2 normal human beings smashing the shuttlecock on opponent's body, and etc..
Well, although I am a girl, I do not really agree with what they often say. Sports may not be my specialty but my affection towards sport is no less than how the sportsmen treat it as, especially badminton..
BADMINTON is actually not a word in the T9 hp dictionary..(everytime when I am about to type "badminton" in my text msg, it shows "no such word"..sigh!!) My fren used to say me watching badminton because the players are handsome or pretty or I support them due to the same reason as well. However, I think that this is really untrue..(although sumtimes I doubt myself that am I really observing their skills but not how trendy their hairstyle are..)hahaha..well, sumtimes it is just out of my control la please..*wink*
A fren of mine say I am a "pembelot nusa dan bangsa" because I support China in every single game..haha!!But a special thank for her because now I am writing this to prove that how much I love badminton..(and China of course..)haha!!
When badminton is mentioned, who will u think of?
1) Lin Dan?
2) Lee Chong Wei?
3) Taufik Hidayat?
4) Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong?
5) or whoever that I am not thinking of right at this moment
I pretty love Chen Jin..not many people are aware of the presence of this person because he is still very young(only 22 my god!!) And he is often eliminated before semi-final (for instance the most recent WBC, he is beaten by a Singaporean player)..But his skill of playing is really very good(though uncomparable with world top-ranked player), precise and accurate. The slow-paced but carefully-handled game has always been the mark for him.
Let's give him a great applause!! I will always support him!! *He has the chance of competing with world top-ranked player in next year's Beijing Olympic game!!*
Another player who plays Men's Double is also the favorite of mine..(Supposingly I should mention both because they are playing in pairs..)--Cai Yun and Fu HaiFeng--Everybody knows how well they play and it is useless for me to mention again..Love them!!!
They are the creme de la creme!!
Always support them!!
